1.         Overview

            Thank you for visiting RapidCE.com and using our CentreLearn learning management system (hereafter collectively referred to as “the Web Site") and reviewing our Privacy Policy.  The Web Site is owned and operated by CentreLearn Solutions, LLC (hereafter referred to as “CLS”).   Your privacy is important to CLS. The web site is provided as an educational service and in order to provide this service properly it is necessary for you to provide personal information about yourself as well as providing information during your educational activities.

2.         What Type of Information We Collect and What We Do With It

            The server on which the RapidCE and learning management system are located collects and saves only the default information customarily logged by web server software. Such information may include the date and time of your visit, the originating IP address, and the pages and images requested.  We may use this information to analyze usage patterns of the website. 

The registration information you provide is used to create an account for you in the CentreLearn online learning system. This information is used to track your progress as you complete various RapidCE educational programs. We may use your information to send you information about upcoming or existing educational programs and services we offer directly or though our partnership with EMSResponder.com which is a division of Cygnus Business Media, Inc. You will have the opportunity to opt out of receiving further email marketing information whenever we send it to you. Our educational programs are accredited by many state governments and the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). If you complete all of the requirements and earn a CECBEMS certificate, then we are required to report that certificate award along with your identifying information to CECBEMS. We will also keep a record of your tests, test scores, your responses to surveys, email you send to instructors, and the date and time you earned a certificate of completion. CECBEMS, in turn, may make the information we provide to them about you available to the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and/or your local and state authorities if they contact CECBEMS to validate the authenticity of any learning activities you take through RapidCE.com and which is accredited by CECBEMS. If requested, we will also provide your personal information to either the NREMT or state and local authorities who wish to validate the authenticity of information that you have provided to them about the educational programs you participated in while using RapidCE. If your RapidCE account is provided by your employer or volunteer organization, we will make your personal information and educational program results and progress available to them through the administrative reporting tools built into the system. Further, if any third parties provide information to us about you, we will treat that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take industry standard precautions to protect your privacy and inappropriate distribution to unauthorized third parties.

3.         Children's Issues

            The Web Site is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and children under such age must not use the Web Site or services offered on it to submit any individually identifiable information about themselves.

            The materials found on the Web Site are protected by United States and other copyright and intellectual property laws, except for works of the United States Government pursuant to 1 U.S.C. Section 105.             CLS DOES NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR ENDORSEMENTS WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) WITH REGARD TO THE WEB SITE, THE MATERIALS, ANY PRODUCTS, INFORMATION OR SERVICE PROVIDED THROUGH THE WEB SITE, OR ANY SITES LISTED THEREIN, AND THE OWNERS OF THE WEB SITE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY COST OR DAMAGE ARISING EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ANY SUCH TRANSACTION. 8.         Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and of the United States. Any dispute or lawsuit against CentreLearn Solutions, LLC related in any way to this Privacy Policy or which arises in any manner out of the use or operation of the website shall be brought solely in a state or Federal court in and for York County, Pennsylvania. EACH PARTY WAIVES ITS RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY SUCH DISPUTE OR LAWSUIT.
